At its May 1, 2012 regular Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the following Guiding Principles for Negotiations.
The Board always considers what is best for students and requires flexibility in order to be as responsive as possible.
The Board requires a balanced and sustainable budget in order to address priorities.
The Board is responsible to the community at large (including all stakeholders) and is committed to keeping the public well informed.
The Board is committed to collective agreements that are fair and comparable among PSD employee groups and Alberta school jurisdictions.
