Irene has been a proud member of the Parkland School Division for 25 years, first as a teacher and now as a trustee.
She taught at Stony Plain Elementary School and High Park School and is now entering her third term as a trustee.
She was a representative or alternate on several committees including the:
- Board Teacher Advisory Committee
- Alberta School Boards Association
- Public School Boards’ Association of Alberta
- Healthy Interactions Steering Committee
Irene believes that public education plays an important role in ensuring every child receives the best possible education. She is committed to excellence and education for all children.
