Richard is a longtime resident of Stony Plain and spent 39 rewarding years working in education. He is pleased to continue to serve the students, parents, and employees of Parkland School Division.
Richard served as the vice-principal at Memorial Composite High School and Spruce Grove Composite High School and was also a software consultant for the school division until last year.
His children and grandchildren attended (or will attend) schools in the local system.
Richard feels it is important to develop strong, respectful relationships with and between all the stakeholders in the education community by enhancing the Board’s leadership role and visibility.
As we move into a new era of educational change it is of paramount importance that we make sure that all changes will be to the benefit of children in classrooms.
