Aileen Wagner
Acting Principal, Keephills School

Parkland School Division’s Superintendent of Schools Tim Monds is pleased to announce that Aileen Wagner has accepted the Acting Principalship at Keephills School.
Ms. Wagner’s teaching career began in 1987 at the Onoway Junior/Senior High School followed by a ten year span at the Paul First Nation School in Duffield. Her experiences there ranged from teaching all curricular areas, supervisory duties and extra-curricular activities, ending in a two year Principalship. Aileen joined Parkland School Division as an Early Childhood Special Needs teacher at Broxton Park School in October, 2000 and in 2001 transferred to Keephills School where she has built lasting relationships and demonstrated excellence in teaching and leading.
Aileen earned a Bachelor of Education degree in 1986 from the University of Alberta and is currently working toward her Masters degree in Educational Leadership. Maintaining professional growth and staying abreast of the latest technology, program delivery and new curriculum is important to Aileen. She has participated in extensive divisional PD and collaboration, curriculum review workshops, and most recently contributed and piloted the Comprehensive Reporting practices.
“I am honored to be selected to fulfill the role of Principal at Keephills School and look forward to serving the learning community in a new capacity,” states Wagner on her new appointment.
