Parkland School Division Board Chair, Richard Gilchrist is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tim Monds (currently Deputy Superintendent) as Acting Superintendent of Schools effective August 1, 2010. “We are thrilled that Tim has accepted this interim position as we undertake the search for our new Superintendent. Tim has demonstrated commitment to our students, parents and staff. Under Tim’s leadership, our learning organization is in good hands during this transition period. Tim is well respected and has much to offer.” The Acting position will be in effect until such time that a new Superintendent is hired.
