A recent letter to Board of Education Chair Richard Gilchrist from Minister Danyluk (Infrastructure) and Minister Hancock (Education) announced $2.7 million for two very important projects in Parkland School Division.
The funding has been approved for the demolition of the old Memorial Composite High School and the mechanical system upgrades at the new Memorial Composite High School. This is a funding commitment of $1.62 million in 2011/2012 and $1.08 million in 2012/2013. This project will be managed by Alberta Infrastructure.
