Memorial Composite High School invites parents of Grade 9 students who are thinking of, or planning to attend MCHS to these open houses. This is an opportunity for Grade 9 students and parents to explore complementary programs MCHS has to offer and to discuss appropriate academic placement.
March 5: For "First-Time Parents"
Memorial Composite High School will be hosting an evening event for "First-Time Parents" on Tuesday, March 5 at 7pm. Parents can become familiar with the school and have an opportunity to meet the school administration and counsellors. This evening is for parents seeing their first child enter high school. Students are not to attend.
March 7: "First Choice Open House"
The “First Choice Open House” evening will be held at Memorial Composite High School on Thursday, March 7 at 7pm. Open House will start with a welcoming address in the large gym.
There is an Advanced Placement English meeting from 6:30–7pm on the same evening. We encourage all Grade 9 students to attend this evening with their parents in order to make their final course selections for high school.
