Since graduating, Mr. McNaughton has taught and held an Assistant Principal position at Drayton Christian School in Drayton Valley. In his administrative role he consistently demonstrated creative and visionary instructional leadership and collaboration and communication with stakeholders. Travis believes in working with staff and family members to create high quality learning opportunities for every student.

"I am extremely excited for the opportunity to be joining the team in Parkland School Division at Muir Lake School,” states McNaughton. “I look forward to building strong new relationships with the students, staff and school community. I anticipate this year to be an excellent year of continuing to provide a safe, secure, caring and stimulating environment in which students can grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. I am grateful for the chance to contribute to this as part of the leadership team at Muir Lake School."
