Middle Years Alternate Program (MYALT) 

 

Middle Years Alternate Program (MYALT), is designed to meet the unique needs of students, grades 5-9, with significant behaviour and/or emotional challenges.

The program focuses on a balanced curriculum of academics, art, physical education, and social skills. All classes and experiences are intended to lead toward the goals of greater academic success and more positive participation in the school community. Classes are kept small and each student experiences highly structured shortened days catered to their individual needs.
