BOACONSTRICTORS



Appearance
It is gray with black and brown markings. It is six to 13 feet and 60 pounds
or more, and long and tapered. The boa's color camouflages it.


Habitat
Some live in underground holes or in trees. It can be warm, dry, moist, large
or small. It lives around lizards, birds, mammals, trees, water and bush.


Food
It eats reptiles, birds, rodents and small mammals. It gets its food by slithering quickly and quietly.

Reproduction
Up to sixty-four babies are born live or in eggs after four to ten months.
They are independent.

Enemies
Their enemies are humans and they protect themselves with camouflage
and fangs. We can protect boas by not poaching.
