Balanced Literacy is a major focus of the Forest Green/CFL culture with all K-9 teachers being trained in this effective practice to make sure that students have strong foundations in the area of literacy. Balanced Literacy techniques are evident in all subjects taught at our school sites. Housing the Balanced Literacy facilitators at Forest Green ensures that we are not only implementing this practice, but we are leaders in our division and province.
