Come on out to Millgrove School and try the games!
Millgrove School Grade 4 Students have made a giant cardboard arcade just like Caine's for the Cardboard Challenge and to celebrate the first birthday of Caine’s Arcade! We’ve learned we can reuse and recyle cardboard, plastic, tinfoil and all kinds of stuff!
Who is Caine?
Caine is a 9 year old boy who lives in Los Angeles. Caine used his imagination to make arcade games with left over cardboard from his Dad's store. He set up an entire cardboard arcade outside his Dad's store and waited for people to come and play. One day a man named Nirvan came to the store and bought a Fun Pass that cost $2. Nirvan was amazed by Caine's creativity and used Facebook and the Twitter to spread the word and to throw a surprise party for Caine. Thousands of people showed up to play at his arcade. Watch Caine's story on YouTube.
Money collected from our Cardboard Arcade will go to the Imagination Foundation. It helps to find, foster, and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in kids.
