Health Day - Sex Ed. Part One - Mar 25, 09
April 14 will be Woodhaven's second last Health Day.
The focus of this day will be on Human Sexuality, Biology and Puberty.
Students will be attending information sessions taught by professionals from this field and through lesson taught by their teachers.

A reminder about Health Days.
Throughout the year there will be, on average, one Health Day per month. The topics for Health Days and the resources chosen are taken from the Alberta Education Program of Studies Health curriculum. All students in Alberta are required to have Health Education. To meet this curricular requirement Woodhaven Middle School has developed the Health Days and PACK programs. It is therefore required that all students attend school on Health Days and during PACK times.

As this subject matter can be uncomfortable, at times students will be grouped by gender and by ages.
